Missing 4 Days, Woman Found

Searching for a missing woman, police and other dogs had searched, cleared, and locked her house. Four days later, KYK9 asked to take our dogs into her house. K9 Remy showed intense interest in the bed which had storage drawers on 3 sides. K9 Scout pulled, went under the bed, and made a sudden loud bark. I crawled under the bed. I saw a blanket, put my hand out to move it, and felt a leg. Then I saw the silhouette of a person under the blanket. All of a sudden we heard loud gasping, Scout and Remy had found the woman and she was alive!

Missing Elderly Man Found Alive

A 65 year old man on medication for MS, disappeared from his house on a cold, rainy day, leaving his wife distraught. Scout followed his scent trail nearly 3 miles, through rain, slush, and heavy traffic. Scout traversed major roads, parking lots, intersections and led us to a hotel where Scout found the man. His wife later gratefully related that Scout’s excited greeting upon finding her husband was what he remembered of his ordeal: “That dog was looking for me and was so happy to find me!”
