At half-time in the highly anticipated game between the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos at Mile High Stadium in Denver, a monkey dressed in chaps and a rodeo shirt was put on a dog's back to make it look like the monkey was riding a bucking Bronco. The dog and monkey raced across the playing field. I did not see much of it, but what I did see, I found offensive. Was the monkey strapped to the dog? Dogs are not meant to be ridden and monkeys are not meant to be bucked in a saddle. How incongruous with the Tebow "brand." Did Tebow pray for the monkey or the dog? Did anyone care? The producers of the half-time show should have stuck to the wildly successful story line of Tim Tebow and Tom Brady.
